The Infamous M’s Cap
You have no idea how many people comment on my “retro” Seattle Mariners baseball cap. Seriously. Bus drivers. Optometrists. Transients. Everyone.
Well, okay, not EVERYONE. But a lot of folks notice it, at least. There seems to be a 50/50 break, where half love the cap and its local, ol’ skool nature, and the other half simply notice this bright blue cap and have to ask “Who’s that?”
Honestly, I got it to show some local support, remind me of when baseball was a simpler thing, and have something to keep the rain off of my face. But it seems like most of the people I’ve met since I got the cap simply recognise me because of my late 70s Mariners cap. I almost feel like I’m in hiding if I don’t wear it. Strange.
