Indeed, MobileMe is live. Sort of.: After signing up for a trial of MobileMe yesterday, followed by hours of trying to log in and being told that either my username or password was wrong (both were dead on), and seeming like I’d just handed my credit card info over to some scam, I finally got the “Forgot Password” link to confirm that, Yes, I have a new MobileMe account. Once logged in, and after about 20 years of loading, I was redirected to me.com/unavailable. Oh joy. At least I know I’m not going to have to pay for a buggy launch… I can’t say the same for everyone I know with a transitioning .Mac account.
